All 18-hole golfers will get an
American Flag when they check in for their golf round on July 4th.
We will ask for your Handicap Index, which will then be converted to
a Handicap for the Tee Box that you will be playing. Your
Handicap will then be added to Par of 72.
Example: Joe has a 10 Handicap,
so his Target Score is 82. Once Joe hits his 82nd shot he will
plant his flag at that exact location. The person with there flag
the farthest out on the golf course is the WINNER. In the
event that Joe would shoot a score of 78, he would still have 4
shots left. In this case Joe would be allowed to tee off on #1
again until he hits four more shots. Wherever the 82 shot lies, he
plants his flag.
If you do not have a handicap or an
index, we will assign one by asking you what your second best
18 hole score was in the last year. The USGA recommends this
"Second Best System" for anyone without a handicap.
