HOLE 5  "Follow On"   Par 4    432 yards

The start of the best stretch of holes I have ever seen or played. Nicklaus Design senior associate, Chris Cochran, describes Number 5 as "one of my all-time favorite holes... anywhere." A long par 4 carved through the woods with a generous landing area guarded on the left by a 40-foot cliff. The approach shot must again carry the cliff on the left with little forgiveness around the green. One bunker strategically placed front right makes the hole seem very unapproachable.

Gary D'Amato of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel describes Hole 5 this way:
"The hole with the biggest "wow" factor is No. 5, a beautiful but intimidating 432-yard par-4 that doglegs left around the 40-foot ravine and is framed all along the right side by trees.
Miss left on your drive or approach and you're looking at double-bogey.
The bail-out right on the approach actually funnels the ball toward the green, but you
can't see that from the fairway because a huge bunker hides the swale.

Yes, it's brand new, but this could be the best two-shot hole in the state."

PRO TIP:
Club selection is the key to this intimidating but memorable hole. Your tee shot over the first bluff should favor the left center of the fairway. Long or right may run through the fairway into the rough. Your approach shot to the punch bowl shaped green will release from the front right.
