Welcome to The Bull at Pinehurst Farms and the “My Kid Bull” Junior Golf Program.  The professional staff at The Bull is extremely excited for this year’s program and hope everyone is eager to get out and play golf.  The “My Kid Bull” program was a great success again in 2007, with over 150 students participating over the entire summer.

The program has been slightly modified for the 2008 season.  The sessions will still be held on Tuesdays from 5pm-7pm, Thursdays from 9am-11am and Fridays from 5pm–7pm.  Tuesdays & Thursdays will be designated for golf instruction on the practice facility.  New this year, Fridays will be Event Days that will vary from week to week.  The event days will give participants the opportunity to test their skills and having fun playing both the “Kid Bull” Short Course and The Bull from the Official “US Kids” Tees.  This program is designed for a range of abilities, anyone from the beginner to the varsity high school player.  Students will receive fundamental instruction, course etiquette, swing analysis and most importantly a FUN atmosphere to learn the great game of golf.

The great thing about the format of this program is that it is very different from traditional junior golf programs.  Traditional junior programs require the student to be in attendance during the entire week or two, however with the “My Kid Bull” program you may attend as many as you like or as few as you like. While the schedule of the program allows for quite a bit of flexibility, it is required that students attend instructional days in order to participate in the event days and tournament.

FAQ’s

What is the “Welcome Party?”

The “Welcome Party” is an informal gathering where the parents and their child/children meet and get to know the golf instructors.  There will also be a luncheon at a cost of $5 per parent and the kids eat for free.  The party will begin at 1pm on Sunday June 8th

Is attendance for the “Welcome Party” and “Break Up Banquet” required?

Attendance is not required at these events, however they will be enjoyable and fun for the family.

Does my child need its own golf clubs?

Yes, we do not have any loaner junior clubs on hand.  We suggest students bring clubs that are fitted to their height because ill-fitting equipment can and will be detrimental to their learning success.  You may purchase junior clubs in our golf shop and we recommend they be purchased prior to June 1st.
