Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and
stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple
question: What are you doing?
Limited to just 160 characters, "Tweets"
are short and to the point. They will appear online on your personal Twitter
page (if you desire, you'll receive an email to let you know you have a
TWEET waiting) AND these Tweets can be delivered via a text message to your
mobile phone.
Linking your phone to your account is
simple, but realize you WILL PAY for the incoming text messages, unless you
have an UNLIMITED TEXT MESSAGING plan on your phone (a good idea if
Twitter interests you -- or you have kids!!)
By "following" a person or group, you
automatically receive any "Tweets" they post. You can follow friends,
family, groups (like THE BULL!), celebrities (John Mayer and Taylor Swift,
for example), and even the news (TIME, CNN, etc).

Facebook is a free social networking group. You'll need to sign up for an
account,
then search for THE BULL AT PINEHURST FARMS in the search box and Join the
Group!
You'll find upcoming events, photos, a discussion board, and more.

TIPS:
When you fill out your profile, make sure you click on the SETTINGS tab and
look through all the privacy settings. We recommend you select "ONLY
FRIENDS" in all these settings to limit your information to friends you know
and accept. In order to become "friends" on Facebook, you must request the
person to be your friend (via a link) AND they must accept!
Also under the SETTINGS tab, select the ACCOUNT SETTINGS button and look
through all the tabs associated with that setting. You may want to change
your NOTIFICATIONS to "OFF," otherwise you'll receive an email each time a
friend posts a comment, photo, etc. You'll simply have to check your
Facebook page on your own to see if anyone has visited your page (also
called your "wall")
If you just want to "check it out," you'll still have to create an account,
but you don't have to add anything beyond that (info or photos). Once you
start looking around, you'll be amazed!
